Fire Safety at Work

This course is designed for all employees working in an employer’s premises. Its objective is to ensure compliance with the Law, and to provide every employee with an understanding of how to prevent fires in the workplace and what actions to take in the event of a fire.

The course comes complete with an assessment and on successful completion your staff will receive a completion certificate.

Through our Learning Management System (LMS) the employer can monitor and manage all courses purchased through the learning portal.

Employers are able to demonstrate compliance by ensuring staff regularly retake the course, the LMS records completion and the end of course assessment scores.

About the course creator - Tim Marcham GIFireE

This course has been developed by Tim Marcham GIFireE, following a successful 29 year fire service career at operational, training and strategic project group level, Tim now runs his own fire safety consultancy practice and is a qualified fire risk assessor approved by the Institute of Fire Engineers.

Tim is currently an associate tutor at the world renowned Fire Service College, Moreton in Marsh, Gloucestershire, providing fire related training and emergency management to both public and private sectors.

Through our Fire Safety Partner we can provide on premise Fire Warden Courses to enable you to formally appoint fire wardens., as required by UK Law. The outcome is to provide people with the knowledge to carry out the functions of a fire warden. It additionally includes a fire extinguisher module, where you’ll learn the correct extinguishing medium, how to risk assess and operate the equipment competently.
